"Jennifer came to our school and mesmerized all of us while reading the beginning of her book. We had reluctant readers who could NOT stop reading her book.
I am a future teacher and was eager to read the book and have a copy to share with my future students. I started the book and found that I could not put it down. The characters had such depth that I was intrigued and wanted to learn more about them. The storyline was so creative and engaging. I love when I can pick up a book and instantly visualize the setting and story! Highly recommend this book for every first to fifth grade classroom! Your students will love this!
Our school recently had author Jennifer Hayes come and visit to share her extraordinary books she has written. Jennifer is an amazing author with such a magnificant imagination! Her stories not only intrigued our students' interests, but also inspired them to use their own imaginations while writing their own stories. During her presentation the students were fully engaged as a whole, and also entertained as she shared her stories. We cannot wait to have her back and to meet book 3!! Woodbury Elementary loves Mrs. Jennifer Hayes!
This book is delightful! I love that the author gives Jenny the reins to explore her imagination. Books like this inspire children to dream. From Spiderlings to Pinkerdoodles, this story is fun to read. I love the little map in the front of the book too. A very talented author!
The story of
Jennifer Hayes
Jennifer had a whimsical childhood during the 1970s and 80s, with imaginary friends and a trusty noble steed as her constant companions. As she grew older, her imagination and love for children’s books remained, guiding her to become a teacher. She’s now on an extraordinary adventure of her own into the world of children’s literature. She is the author of the Jenny Figment series and is over the moon to share book three, The Riddle of the Fairy Tale Village, coming this holiday season! Jennifer loves animals, especially pocket dragons, and has a passion for baking pinkerdoodles. She lives in Illinois with her husband, daughter, one cat, and two dogs—who sadly do not talk (though sometimes Jennifer imagines they do).
